Our high-end exhaust is manufactured in the EU by hand on order and has two exhaust flaps. The control of the exhaust flaps is done by switch which finds place in the cigarette lighter. The systems are available made of stainless steel or Inconel 625.
Info Inconel 625 as a material for the construction of ultralight exhaust systems:
Inconel alloys are often used in areas with extremely high temperature loads. Compressor and turbine blades or combustors in gas turbines are typical applications. Also possible is the use in turbochargers and as a material for exhaust valves in supercharged internal combustion engines.
Because of the high price they´re often used for motor sports, for example in Formula 1, where manifolds are made of Inconel.
The advantage of Inconel 625 to stainless steel is the high temperature resistance of more than 1050 ° C and a weight saving of 45-60% (compared to stainless steel).
